Journalism & Copywriting

Interviewing 101-year-old Holocaust survivor Alice Herz-Sommer, in 2005, for a newspaper I was working for at the time

I hold a National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ) Journalism qualification and, before going freelance, I worked for 17 years as a journalist on a variety of publications including local newspapers, B2B and the in-house magazine for the UK supermarket chain, Waitrose.

I also have a Diploma in Copywriting from the College of Media and Publishing. This means I can help you with writing content from scratch, whether it’s press releases, articles/blogs, website copy, award submissions, bid applications, flyers, newsletters or emails, as well as copy-editing, refreshing and polishing your previously-written copy.

I can also work with you to identify keywords so your copy is SEO friendly.

All you need to do is give me your brief and we’ll discuss your tone of voice, audience and what you’re after.

I’ll work out a no-obligation quote based on what the work involves and how long I think it will take me and, if you’re happy with it, we can start working together!

Do you need some copy to be written or refreshed, and not sure where to start? Get in touch and we can discuss what you’re looking for.
