I’ve always loved travelling, and from travel came a love of languages. I studied French and German at University, and I later moved to Colombia for more than two years, where I learnt Spanish. I now translate from French and Spanish into English.
Translation is all about making a text as readable, fluent and natural in the target language – the language you are translating into – as in the source language – the language you are translating out of. You shouldn’t even notice it’s been translated.
